How are the 6.0L Custom tunes to fix low injector pres codes

Post by cole »

I would like to know from the customers who have downloaded / received by email the 100hp custom tunes to fix the low injector pressure codes. I am about to release A new update that is going to fix all the current issues and implement these 100hp tunes into the predator if they fix the issues. Please post your responses below.

Hey Cole,

The custom tune you sent works great, no p2290 code and no engine light. Tranny is responsive, every once in awhile a hard shift but i'm fine with that I know it can't be perfect yet.

dloaded 100hp tune and getting errors...

Post by jasonoahb »

How's it going Cole,
I live out in the Acreage. You were at my house a few months ago when my truck wouldn't start.
I was receiving the trouble code for low injector pressure, so I loaded the new 100hp tune. I am now receiving the following error prompt:
"The Custom Tune will not be used. It does not match the original tune for this vehicle (56c89535:d6caf66d)"
After several attempts it will install the tune, but I am still receiving errors from the Predator stating "Unable to read vehicle type"

Thanks,
JB

Cole I am back again and need help. Just down loaded the 100hp custom tune and loaded to my truck and again it will not start or even turn over the starter. Tried to reload the factory tune and the programmer does not recognize. Is there any way to fix this problem before Monday? Can I force and if so how do I get the pass world. The programmer did download the original factory tune. And can I get the 100hp that will work on my truck?

First of all you have to have a custom tune based on the correct calibration ID full 7 digit calibration. Second make sure a copy of the original backup file from your truck is saved on your computer as an "ori file". When using DS Downloader you will make sure that the compress send button is checked when sending a custom tune to the vehicle. If DS Downloader ask for a base file click "yes" and select your original backup that you saved on your pc. This will send the custom tune to the predator and will be saved on the predator. Once you plug the predator into the vehicle and hit "Performance Tune" and after that menu you will have 2 options. "Diablosport Tunes" or "Custom Tunes". I hope this helps... if you get an error of 56c89535:d6caf66d)" This indicates that "compress send" Wasnt checked on DS Downloader.

Again if you have a "vxcf4h2" calid then download that tune.
But if its not on the list of calids that are above please request a tune for your calid.
