Dyno Results

Post by keavdog »

Just got back from the Dyno and saw 315.1 RWHP 371 torq on my 2009 Charger R/T w/91 CAI tune ( running u7135-9r20.crom, mopar CAI, BT Catch Can).
The tech did say he thought it was running rich. Scan of numbers attached.

The tech at the shop said ideally he'd like to see 12s throughout. I'd like to know your comments (e.g. is 12 really the number) and what I can do to change it if needed. He said I would see another 20HP or so.

Is this a loading eddy current dyno or an inertia one? It is a little rich if his wideband is accurate/ in good condition. I notice that the wideband is showing part throttle low RPM A/F ratio of 14.3 instead of the normal 14.64. The predator does not tune part throttle A/F, that is the job of the oxygen senors so it should read 14.6 or 14.7 for A/F at part throttle.

You can try to lean it out a little but you may get some knock. Did any knock occur during the runs? You can try to lean it out upper RPMs until you get some knock. It is kind of tricky because the hemi's have tend to have very sensitive knock sensors.

This was my first dyno - no idea what type it is. Their web site says: 160-mph Dyno Dynamics chassis dyno though.
