u7136 - Bootup String Missing/VPP Issue

u7136 Chrysler V6 LX
v.9r04
2005 Chrysler LTD AWD

First time using the Predator. I update it to the latest crom (9r04), no issue, plug it into my car, says I need a calibration update. No problem. Run the DSDownloader, grab the update it wants, go back to the car.
Plug it in. Powers up, agree to the terms, needs to run update, key off, key on, fails immediately here. Provides the error: Bootup String Missing; VPP issue.
Figuring it might be a corrupt crom or Calibration, I re-do both of those. Test again, same thing.
Searched forums, was only able to find one similar issue, but it was on a Trinity.
Any ideas?

Id get it sent back to where you got it and see if they can swap it out for you.
