Performance Upgrade oppinions

What are your takes on Ignition upgrades like say MSD power coils, also power pulleys, assuming if I get teh power pulley I will also get the one for the altenator to make up for the difference in size for charging? My truck is an 07 5.3 Z71 Chevy w 4spd auto. Also I used to run NGK sparkplugs and loved them, was wondering about if it matters or whats the best spark plugs to use.

IMO MSD coils are NOT worth the cash u have to drop for them, now the wires not a bad idea and i got mine for bout 75 bucks at my local speed shop.. pulleys are ok i guess never had em so dont kno bout that but i do kno you should do both! As far as spark plugs the ac plugs that come in the truck are bout as good as they get u could spend the money on more ngks if you want but i wouldnt change unless you want to go to a colder or hotter plug for some reason... Me personally im goin to do longtube pacesetter headers with 3" off road y and no cats with a set of 410 gears and set of wheels and nitto's for the weekends...

no, do NOT use the msd aftermarket coils... no reason to...
