Predator screen issue

The screen of my Predator is very dark. You can't see anything by looking square at the screen. I have to tip it away from me to see anything. The screen is black. Is there a way to adjust the contrast of the screen? If not how can this get fixed?

there is a screw on the back of the predator, philips head, turn it and you can adjust the contrast. Its the towards the top, directly in the center of the tool
