New 2010 Camaro OS Needs NEW Trinity Revision

Post by RedJewel2SS »

Hey guys,

as you can see a few people recently have been having problems getting their tunes working for their 2010 camaro. This is just my opinion, and correct me if i'm wrong, but there is a new operating system that the dealers are reflashing our cars with as of mid November... which i believe could be the culpret for all of the headaches some people are having right now.

I'm sure DiabloSport is working hard to get a revision for this new operating software, do y'all have any estimate as to when that will be released?

I haven't updated my car yet since i got it in July, and mine is running fine but i am due for some service soon and i know the first thing they are going to do is re-flash my computer. so i just want to be prepared for this lil fiasco ahead of time

BUMP!

I took my Camaro to the dealership the other day because my spoiler was vibrating and they flashed the new OS on me. They said it was part of the same bulletin as the spoiler issue. Now my Trinity is useless. How much longer??? I've read that the predator already supports the new OS.

My car needs a few things fixed on it and I have avoided the dealership because of the flash. A time frame would be great.

Nevermind. There is now a link to download the file at the link you supplied. I will try this asap.

I installed the 'trinity_u7194-1r06f_update.crom' file to the Trinity, hooked up to car and installed the 'Diablosport Tune'. WORKED LIKE A CHARM!

I did a quick run using the Diablosport tune on the newly updated ECM with launch control on.
The results: The clutch no longer sticks half way and the wheel hop issue is MUCH improved. I will be taking it to the track this Saturday and will do more testing. I plan to do 1/8th mile runs with launch control on/off and with/without Diablosport tune. I'll post updates if there is interest.
