Computer flash update ?

Quick question. I am on my way to get my Ram from the dealer for a shift noise. They said the did a computer flash update for the tranny . Will I need to do anything to put the Predator back on ? Any updates ? I updated the Predator to Crom 9r06 last night.

Anything else ?

As long as you restroed the backup before you go in for the update, its all good.

Yeah I have had the stock tune in for about 2000 miles due to the tranny shift noise. I was nervous, but I miss the Predator tune.

The noise was weird, imo. Like slapping a hammer down onto catch tray that's laying on pavement .

Tranny shifting seems improved. I like it better.

Ok I got a message that reads

"Predator u71737 does not support Calid: 05094402AK . We need to downgrade to 05094402AJ in order to continue. "

What's this mean ?

Means you're on hold until they add the new CalID to the Predator or you go back to the old Cal and lose your tranny update.

I would go back to the old Cal on my truck but my tranny still makes the noise. At first it didn't, but it's back. So I don't want to touch anything that the dealer might see I messed with just yet.

This sucks ! I just wish the dealer didn't rush it out due to being busy. Tomorrow a tech goes for a ride with me. It'll make the noise I'm sure of it !

What's this mean ?

Follow the cal update process and you'll be able to tune the truck.
