install 05 computer in 04 for tranny adj

does any one know if it is possible to put the computer from an 05 ram in my 04 in order to adjust tranny options. i work at a shop and have looked at several 04s and 05s and the plugs look the same but the pins on the plugs maybe different. just wondering if anybody knew if this is possible and if i will have to take it to the dealer in order to vin match the computer.

Best bet is to ask someone familiar with the harnesses...
