20168 divided by (your tire height in inches) = tire revs per mile

for example, if you have 35 inch tires, its 20168 / 35 = 576 = tire revs per mile
No, i don't work here.

i believe the 7.3 tool uses base NOV as well for shift points etc for bigger tires...

Where does the number 20168 come from? I have 35 inch tires and adjusted the revs to 576, this made no difference in my speedometer. I am about a half tenth past a mile when my speedo changes to a mile.

20168 is just a predetermined number used for that formula. After further inspection however, i am not seeing that this tool offers adjustable tire size for this application, but as SCGT94 mentioned before, you can adjust Base NOV to compensate for larger tires to correct your shift points.
No, i don't work here.

It really shouldnt be so hard. On the Products page and every vendor page that happens to sell the U7164 it clearly states that you can Change gear and tire sizes for factory oversized tires. This is the main reason I purchased the Predator. There should be an option to go in and change tire size from stock to whatever tire you happen to be running on. I have searched this forum all the way back to the beginning and all I see is "We are working on it" and at one point it lookes like the function was actually there. This dates back to 2008. I guess what I am trying to say is you shouldn't advertise it if it doesn't perform the way you say it does.

No option to adjust the Base NOV on the U7164

Bump.. This is getting frustrating.. I wish I would have looked thru these forums before I spent 400 bucks on this POS tuner. Nothing on it works as advertised.
