Custom tune needed for gt500 w/Ford Racing CAI . (High Idle)

Have the std. high idle with the steeda 93 octane tune. I guess I need a custom tune, even though this is a very common CAI for this car. Specs are: U7145

Steeda did not make the GT500 Ford Racing Cold Air Intake. Roush did.

Steeda made a metal design air intake for Ford Racing for the 2005-2007 Ford Mustang GT and it was used on the Shelby GT's, not to be confused with the GT500. Ford Racing could not get emissions to pass with the Steeda intake on the 4.6L GT's for 2008-2009 model years so they used the 2008 Bullitt intake as their 4.6L air intake upgrade. The Bullitt intake is a black molded box with a dry cone filter. The steeda one was a metal box with an oiled blue cone filter.

Your GT500 has the Roush made black box with blue cone filter. so choosing the steeda tune will not work. You will probably need a custom tune as the Predator does not come pre-loaded with an FRPP intake tune for the GT500.

Loaded the Steeda 93 tune, cause that is what I was told would work with this setup. It's a modified steeda tune and it helped, but still have high idle. Yes, I need a custom tune( that is not so custom, just not included). Tom
