D7156 PowerPuck Rough Idle at Automatic High Idle

Post by badmopr »

I installed my powerpuck about 4 days ago. I noticed that in cold weather when the automatic high idle kicks in, with the puck on the 90HP setting, the truck has a rough/loping idle. Is this normal? Never had this issue until the puck was installed. Seems to run fine and has a normal idle if not on automatic high idle.

I have heard of this on lots of dodge trucks when it gets cold.

Does it do it on both settings?

seems to just do it on the 90 HP setting. I flipped it down to the 50 HP setting. I will let you know tomorrow.

only does it on the 90HP setting. I think its just fuel overload on that automatic circuit. Cant make everything work all the time. For the improved performance I think I can turn it off if it gets cold. Just making sure my Puck wasnt screwed up.
