180* Thermostat

U7193 current update
2003 Chevy 2500HD 8.1L
I just got a 180* t-stat, stock is 195* is it nessesary to change the fan settings or is it done automaticly with the 87 tune? If so how do I do the change? Thanks

I filled her up with 91 and loaded the Diablo tune. She ran great. I ran her pretty hard 0-115 for about 45min (up & down)let her idle for 15 min, temp did not get higher than 206.I did not adjust the fans because I could not find the settings in the tune. It was around 37 degs out. Ussally she will climb to 210 in a matter of mins.

hook up to the truck... select the same tune you installed before... then select Modify Tune... you should then get a menu listing of all the parameters you can go in and adjust... Fans should be one of them...

I looked at all the parameters but could not find one for the fan settings.
