2005 Mustang GT with Fujita CAI

Post by gorena »

Hello,

I have a 2005 Ford Mustang GT with a Fujita CAI as well as a TB spacer. I installed the 93 Performance Octane on the car before I had the CAI and the car ran great, even after I installed the CAI.

To get the most out of the CAI I retuned to the AirRaid CAI file but the car wont idle. As soon as I turn the car on the revs drop below 500 and the engine dies. If I try to keep it running using the gas pedal you can hear the engine struggling to idle. I returned to the 93 performance tune and the car works great.

Will any of the other CAI tunes work with the Fujita?

Thanks a lot,
Lucio

Thats not really a Q that we can answer considering that the tunes were only tested with the cai tunes that were made for them. You may want to just try installing different tunes until you find one that works with your setup... Another thing to try would be to install the 93 oct perf tune and add 5-10% to the maf curve till it runs right.
No, i don't work here.

what size is CAI... 93mm, 95mm... you could try the generic CAI tune.
