Newb ?s about my trinity...

Post by Trulywickedcustoms »

I just put the trinity in my truck after trying the MP-8 and the bullydog GT not satisfied with either of them but I love my
trinity but I need some help figuring out some stuff like my GT had a 12v turn on wire that you van wire in to come on with the key...? Does diablo offer anything like that for the trinity??

And while I was driving the screen went black like into a screen saver mode? Can I change it so it doesnt do that?

I know this sounds realy dumb but is there an on & off switch??? I can't find it lol

and my last for now is can you make your own custom backgrounds for the live gauge setting??

You should be able to tap the screen at any time and it will turn on, the OBDII port is always powered.

What screen are you on when the Trinity turns off? It will stay on if you are in monitoring or logging mode.

Nope.

No, you can only select from the list of provided images.

That could happen on the monitoring/logging screens if you don't get the connector on the bottom of the Trinity completely plugged in. You have to push fairly hard, but make sure you are pushing straight in. Then lightly pull on the connector on each side to make sure it is fully seated.

You can leave it on the monitoring screen when you shut the truck off. The Trinity will shut off after a bit, and when you start the truck back up it will begin monitoring without you doing anything. It is pretty slick.
