Problems with u7194

Post by nofinga911 »

Hi first, when I record a log in my truck (07 escalade ext) it only lasts for a coupld of minutes until the log is full. Second, when i view the log when my WOT (throttle is at 100%), it's showing my Air/Fuel Ratio to be 18.32!! Those numbers should be in the 12's...??

Yes, it seems there is an issue with the way the A/F is displayed in the tool.
I have been told by another user that the correct value is displayed in the DAT Viewer software, try looking at it there.

Thanks

hey Mike... yeah, I just checked out his log for him... it's also only logging for 1 and a half minutes... and he only had my 7 parameters logged... is this like the same thing with the one for the Vettes - where they have very short logs also??

Yes, i believe it is an issue with the U7194 tool.
They are looking into this as well.

Does the tool display the correct value in the logs, or is it wrong as well?

Thanks

I just discussed this with John C. and he said that when logging with the U7194 if you stream the data to a laptop you will have unlimited log time.

Thanks

the dataviewer shows it correctly, but when exported to csv file, it's wrong in there...

k... found the bug.... it's with Dataviewer 3.1....

dataviewer 3.0 shows everything correct - AFR at WOT is 11.9x to 12.xx, and exports the csv file correctly as well.

HOWEVER...

dataviewer 3.1 is showing the wrong AFR - it goes up to 18.xxx - both in the dataviewer app and the csv file as well.
