RE: Shift firmness
My mistake, I guess it was set to firm,,took it back to stock shift and then back to firm, worked well. This still leads me to a question I had before,,,can the data viewer or some other software show you what settings are set for a paticular tune? This would be helpful. Thanks guys for the quick responses. You provide great support.
RE: Shift firmness
If you select a tune file, then go to "Modify Parameters", there will be a "*" in front of parameters that *you* have changed.
As to what's set to where in the tune file itself, the answer is mostly "no".
When you go to modify parameters and select a particular parameter to modify, it will sometimes show the current "value". Depends on the parameter. For example if you go to modify the fan settings the predator will read the current value from the tune file and display it. On the other hand if you go to adjust the fuel the predator will only display the adjustment bar and the current setting will always start at 0 (unless you changed it and then that would be displayed -- like the bar would be at +7%). It depends on whether the changes the predator allows you to make are a percentage from what's in the tune file or if it allows you to enter an absolute value.
