who has an 07-10 silverado 5.3 that can help me with this?

im sure if you have an 07-10 silverado 5.3 its like mine. if your at a dead stop and you punch will your truck let you spin your tires? cuz my truck if i do that and punch it it wont let me go past 2k rpm's and after i get to like 20 or so it unleashes all the power. thats the factory settings i heard. is this true? if so how do i get rid of it? and another prob i have is my truck still wont break 100 and i can't figure it out... i've turned the speed limiter off and nothin happened and i turned it on and nothin happened is there a trick or maybe a diff way to cut that out?

I haven't had any problem with my truck since I have tuned it. It actually goes when I hit the go pedal now! The first thing that comes to mind is that the stock tune is still installed into the truck. Look at the "last tune installed" option on the Predator and see what it says. As far as not being able to spin your tires, did you turn your traction control off? I'm probably nowhere close to the problem, but just throwing it out there. Someone will chime in that can get you straightened out.

No. Its one tune or the other. You're going to have to wait until Lew or DiabloSport gets on the forum to get you up and running. You're truck should be a lot more responsive when you hit the gas. I was very impressed with my truck after I tuned it.

go to options/show last tune written, what does it say?

says.... modify stock tune then you press ok then it just tells you a bunch of codes of what i did speedometer, fuel, and just lil things nothing that would affect the top speed.. can i return my program and do an even swap for another one?

you did not install the diablo tune, you just installed a copy of the stock tune...do you have an option for the Diablo Tune?

ya i did that first then after i installed the diablo i modified it.. should i have done it the opposite way round?

when you went to make the changes to the diablo tune, did you select the same diablo tune as you installed before, and then modify tune?? or, after the diablo tune was installed, did you select factory hp tune and modify that one?

on my programmer i put the diablo tune on first... then i went back and selected modify stock tune and just started doin my speedo then fuel and stuff but it didnt ask me which tune to modify. i just assumed it was gonna modify the tune that was on the truck... i feel a difference in performance no doubt its just these two lil probs..... and im runnin out of ideas...

when i select modify tune it doesnt ask me if i wanna mod diablo tune or mod stock tune it just says mod stock tune but i installed diablo first then moded it..

the diablot uen is not inthe truck if last tune written is modify stock, you need to install the diablo tune.

nope... you reinstalled the stock tune with your modifications...

hook up to your truck, select the Diablo Tune, then select Modify Tune, make your changes, save the changes, then press the ESC button a few times until it asks you Install tune now?? select YES, and it will install the Diablo Tune with your changes made to it...
