I have an '06 GT with an airaid intake. anytime go to WOT suddenly, there is at least a full second of delay before the motor reacts. I can actually hear what I believe is the intake sucking air before the motor responds.
Don't flame me here, but I have seen the term "torque managment" when talking about throttle response. Is there anything you can do with my 93 octaine airaid tune that would eliminate some of this hesitation.
Or can you tell me what parameters to modify to eliminate some of the hesitation.
Thanks,
Terry

RE: no throttle response
I your car an auto?
What revision is your Predator on?
If you can post your calibration ID as well, that would be great.
Thanks

Ok
I need to see a copy of the tune on the car.
Using the Predator, go to options/custom tune/export tune
Choose custom tune or extra tune, (not sure which one it will be).
Hook up to the PC and use DSDownloader to 'get tune file from Predator'.
Email me this file at [email protected]
Thanks

I finally got a chance to address this. When I powered up my preditor it showed that I still had the 835 tune. I know remember that when I installed the 836 it didn't have the airaid listed in the OEM menu, so I reloaded the 835 tune.
sorry for the confusion. So in answer to your ofiginal question, I have the r835 version.
It is the same tune that came off the website. I am sure you have a copy of this Airaid firm shift tune.

Re: RE: Re: RE: no throttle response
Thanks for clearing it up. Do me a favor and go ahead and update to the 8r36 revision, as we have had some issues with the 8r35. You will not need those tunes anyhow, as you should have gotten your new custom tune today.twfolks wrote:Mike, mikel wrote:Ok

I'm not sure that the tune I sent was based on the firm shift or not, let me know and we can redo it no problem.

Don't need Airaed tune???????
That is the CAI that I have and it was not listed in the 8r36. The 8r35 which had the airaid tune, was built on the "firm shift" tune. Can you add the Airaid to the 8R36 rev

If you send me a copy of your original backup file I can send you a custom tune for this application.twfolks wrote:That is the CAI that I have and it was not listed in the 8r36. The 8r35 which had the airaid tune, was built on the "firm shift" tune. Can you add the Airaid to the 8R36 rev
