07-New Body- GMC-1500-5.3L-Lacking power

Hey everyone i just got the U7194 for my 07 new body gmc sierra 1500 5.3L ive been reading these post( theres alot) so if this has been posted somewhere sorry but i didd my log adjusted my injector slopes and drove it and did another log and it say that i am in the zone between -1 and 0 so really zoned in but it seems like its lacking in power... what do i adjust my spark to if anything and should i need to update my tuner says i am running V.9t14a so any help would be appriciated i can also send my logs maybe lew or someone can take a look

Next, you have to adjust your WOT (Wide open throttle) fueling. Thats where you will get a lot of power. Also you can look into a custom tune from Lew.

ok now it will not let me download newest update i reinstalled factory tune and trying to get u7194-9r13.crom to put on predator but it keeps saying i cannot with a factory tune still on my tuner----how do i remove the factory tune(i have reinstalledthe factory tune to my truck)

when you went to reinstall the original backup if it did not say tool is unlocked then its still tech. locked to your truck

you need to restore original backup, not install factory hp tune... it only unlocks if you do the "restore" process...

so, hook up to your truck, and then go to OPTIONS > TROUBLESHOOTING > RESTORE ORIGINAL BACKUP

once that process is done, your predator is unlocked, the original backup is removed from it and back in your truck, and then you'll be able to update the predator..


but, why are you updating?? nothing new/different in the 9r13 file - it's the same as the beta 14 you have..


as the saying goes... "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" heh...

ok i c just thought if there was an updated then it needed it. but i did get it on there i just saved the file not the actual factory tune. did get it to work and yea still not much difference i guess ill have to get you to tune it for me once i get exhaust in (should be tommorow) ill give ya a pm. ill work on getting the WOT spark and WOT Fuel have no idea but trial and error cant be bad right

so i have 3 wot pe settings and there is only 2 in the program which do i adjust (1k-4k---low but then there is 4k-4.9k and 5k-7k which is high rpm) cause everytime i change both i keep getting different paramaters which is getting annoying and what about spark is there any formula for that and still waiting for exhaust waiting for 2 weeks now but i am getting better pulls through out the rpm

if you're going to get a tune from me, don't worry about the WOT settings... I have far more control via a custom tune on what areas can and need to be adjusted, rather than the wide ranges that the predator affects...

I wouldn't change any timing, since the diablo tunes jack that up pretty good as it is, and usually some timing in areas has to be removed due to some slight KR... so don't touch the timing...
