Trinity freeze

CIYOUNG your Trinity start working in the trans mode yet or again ? I had to send mine back for a port failure warrenty.
You get a fix yet ? My preditor worked in trans mode,,,I guess,, well it didnt freeze up anyway. Im kinda dissapointed so far with the Trinity. Gauge layouts I only had one setting that worked or even done anything. I dunno well have to see with the next one they send me.

I had kind of given up on it.
I was told the next update would have the fix in it, I see the incremental update 1r07a was posted on 2-4-2010. I tried it and it's still doing the same thing.
I'm past my 30 day return, but i'm going to try and return it anyway.

Ciyoung, ya, well I just got my same 20 day old unit back. yep the same unit... now its 40 days old, not replaced as new one just port and cable fix. same trans FREEEEZE. when I go to modify upshift, shazam freezes up. I know your fustration. I really like the unit, if it worked as good as the preditor I SOLD for 200 bucks.
I know DS is the sh^t for a tuner, copmpared to others i guess. Seems what we all use DS units in the challangertalk.com/forum I belong to. Guess its time to e mail them again. Your right its gettin old.

Ciyoung, Yeeeha, the gods have spoken. lololol They have a fix for the trans freeze. I downloaded it and installed into trinity and it worked. And thank you Mikel ! You made it happen. I can get into autostick selection for the first time. DS, I have these settings STOCK, MODE 1 and MODE 2 to select from. Now what will those two settings get me ??? Also,
I do not have any rev limits or rpm shift point settings like I had in the Preditor ? DS what the deal there, I missing somthing ? I need rpm / shift point settings cause even on the dyno it shifts too early into 5th.. How do I get this back like in the preditor ? I found that, in dyno mode, it just turns off abs ect. is all. thanks again.

There is no rev limit setting for the 09-ups due to the tcm rev limiter which cant be overcome currently.

Preditor had it in the menu ? The rev limits and shift points, for 09 5.7 Or was that a non working function ?
Can a crm tune have these shift points and rev limits set or adjusted to what I want ?

No, there is a limiter in the TCM which can not be bypassed currently...

My Trinity is also freezing but I do not see the update you are referring to, was it for the u7135? I have version .1r07(newest release), but it freezes when I go into the autostick mode. ID 04896568AL SERIAL: 6JSNEA0-1 '06 MAGNUM R/T

I'm running part # u7135 ver # 1r07
Trinity Crom (production version) 01-11-2010 1r07 trinity_1r07.crom 32644k (this is the crom i'm running)
Should i be using any of the files from the Trinity Incremental Releases (pcm_6_0 02-04-2010 1r07a trinity_u7165_pcm_6_0-1r07a_update.crom 1034k or u7164 02-09-2010 1r07a trinity_u7164-1r07a_update.crom 7080k)
I'm not seeing the update Kahler is talking about.

Just talked to Tech, this fix will be in Crom 1r08, I asked when it was coming out, they are hoping within the next couple weeks, maybe sooner.

Hey fans, of DS,, I got a repair to try out. So I am testing this now. Yep no freeze,nothing else any good either. Nothing. All you get from what I seen is nothing to do with performance. Trans stock, or mode 1 or mode 2 has pre set down shift schedule. I cant see for what. Performance,,,, is when my foot is in the throttle not out of it. ? We all need to control our timing / fuel, ect. So I do like the DSP and DST and think it should, be the best game out there.
I guess I really wanted more control over shift points / revs ect.. / stuff like that. Still DS is the best tuner though. I just wanted more...

It didn't work for me. DS said the update was for added for added calibration support. They are still working on the freezing issue. It's interesting that it worked for you.
