Help! Predator wont install tune....

my predator has been working fine (u7194) but i downloaded the latest crom file onto it and when i plugged into my truck it wouldnt install the tune because it said there is not backup file...and its not making a backup file..how do i fix this???

did you restore your original backup to your Escalade first, before you updated the Predator??? I hope so... otherwise you'll probably have to contact Diablosport and have them help you force the backup, then you should be able to tune with the new/updated version.

what if i get the update version that i previously had on my predator when the backup was taken?

Leave it alone for now....give us a call with the tool powered up sometime so we can fix the issue for you.

ok, i called up and had the issue fixed...i just installed the performance tune with the new version and now my orange check engine light is on, and my engine is reving really high....i have an 07' cadillac escalade and when i just drove it, the engine revs realllyy high as if i was driving manual and i had to shift...it does not feel like the gears are switching...what do i do???

This is strange...what revision is it now?
Try restoring the backup and make sure the truck runs OK, then reinstall the tune.
Dont make any changes to the tune other than installing it.

ok its fine now...but before i enter the wheel info i want to make sure im doing it right because last time my speedo was completely messed up...i have an 07' escalade...using u7194..it gives me two ways to enter the info...either by the numbers off the tire or by the tire size...which one should i do?

Either one works fine on the newer revisions.
Use the sidewall numbers since they are available.

k the wheel info worked good...but i still have the check engine light..what do i do about that?

read the code in the diagnostic menu and then erase it after noting the PXXX number and the description.

arite the check engine light went away on its own...now just when are you guys going to fix the logging problem with the u7194 so that i dont have to have someone come with me and hold my laptop??
