Anywho, few issues.
1. My U7194 is apparently a relic thanks to whatever they decided to change to make the "old" U7194 (2 years and a few months ain't that friggin old imo...) a doorstop. Hence, I'm assuming I'll never be able to update my Predator again. Unless of course I decide to pay $100 for it to be upgraded, which is highly unlikely. Will this pose a problem?
2. My Predator has an odd problem that I still havn't 100% remedied. You may recall the thread I made about how my Predator couldn't recognize my truck and I had disappearing options when it did. I've narrowed the problem down to the cable, but there seems to be little I can do about it. Just holding the cable into the part where it goes into the Predator works well enough for installing tunes, but apparently isn't stable enough for logging. Of course there could be another problem I'm entirely unaware of, because if the whole problem was cable instability I feel as if it wouldn't let me fully install a tune either; then again, I can't use both hands to steady the Predator while driving & logging... but I'm uncertain either way. Anywho...
I can tell it to watch & record a log, and even watch it as it logs. It also eventually says the log is full. But what I've come to find is that it doesn't actually save the log.
I've tried to pull and save two logs from it now with no success. On the first attempt it wouldn't leg me pull the log at all. On the second attempt it let me pull and save the log, but it only seemed to actually record the logging intervals and not the parameters themselves...
Now, seeing as it does always at least log, I was wondering if you think it should still be able to record to a PC if I bring my laptop along and just let the log run through to the PC.
If so, how exactly would I go about setting it up to do so?
Of course all that's irrelevant if the answer to #1 makes this a pointless venture entirely
