Problem with U7134

Post by Krauser »

05 SRT4 Neon
U7134 CROM 9r15 93 Tune

I adjusted the idle rpm up +100 rpm and it would idle at 1100rpm where stock is about 850; so I dropped it from +100 to +50 and it stayed at the same 1100 (hot or cold no change) so I just left it there. The real problem was driving it- when I would come to a stop and push in the clutch the rpms would hang at 1800 rpm for about 5 seconds then come down slowly to 1100 rpm. I just went ahead and set the idle speed back to stock and it's fine- it only does it if you adjust it higher with the predator. Was just letting you guys know.

I am experiencing a similar if not the same problem. If I set the idle to +100, +150, etc. for D with AC on or off, the idle jumps to about 1200 in P/N. If I modify the idle of P/N, either up or down and any amount, the idle in P/N jumps to about 2000. Mine is the CROM 9r19 with 93 Tune.

I strongly suggest no one bother with the SRT-4 idle settings.
There's absolutely no reason to, unless you have larger cams and idle quality at the stock rpm is poor.

if you start having the same issuse with the stock idel then do the tps fix the wires start to brake and cause that issue as above. Like i said only if this is an issuse later with stock idel.

Since these cars are ve based installing cams will usually require a custom burn as the VE is a little out of whack now. All depends on how aggressive the cams are. Obviously afer an install like that make sure everything is properly connect/you're not getting any lights
