Failure to download tune from trinity

After to speaking to a guy from RPM, he needed me to download to last tune written

I've download the original tune, then tried to download the 'last tune' written, but when I try this the trinity just hangs and does nothing. Although it says can take a couple of mins, I left it for 10 mins and 0% progress.

Does this mean there is only one tune ie the original from when the car was remapped?

any help appreciated.

A bit of background, hopefully to clarify

I was a little confused when talking to the chap from RPM. As he was requesting I send him 2 tunes:
1. orignal for the car
2. the tune from Roush

I thought the ECU only recorded one tune and sinced Roush remapped the car, I assume this is the original tune.

I have not used the pre-stored tunes in the trinity, there must only be one tune in the car's ecu ie the remap from roush..

To answer your quest, No, I've not installed any tunes from the trinity, as I belive they are not suitable for the modifications I have on my mustang. ie Roush stage 3... plus PYPES headers and 3" custom exhaust.

With these extra mods, I belive I need a custom tune creating


Mike, can you recommend anyone that can do a remote tune? As I'm having great difficulty finding someone.
I don't want to sell the trinity, but if I can't find someone to produce 3-4 tunes (Econnomy and performance tunes for hi and low Octane unleaded) for me, I will have to sell it.

NOTE: I am located in the UK. Noone in the UK provide tuning for the trinity, which is not surprising.
But I'm having great difficulty finding someone in the US to do a remote tune!

Funny thing is, when people in the UK see the trinity they are amazed what it can do...
I've already designed my logging screens with all the data I need.

This is an excellent piece of kit... I just wish I could get the custom tunes for it.

Also, what are your conditions for the Custom CMR tuning software? I belive noone in the UK has your software. I would like to look into setting something up for a local tuning specialist.

OK, you have to write onne of the trinity tunes to the car in order to get a copy of last tune written, so, install a 93 octane tune, then export original backup and last tune written, and email them to the tuner.

If you need someone to work with, contact tuningSS on this forum, he is a great Ford tuner and does lots of remote tuning.

one question, the remap that Roush installed (for Roush CAI with supercharger) will not get erased will it. I want to return to that one

I've emailed tuningss direct on his email. I hope he can create a tune for me.
