Reading extra tune

I have a tune labeled "custom_tune.frg in my Predator menu. I believe the car currently has the stock tune loaded. If I want to export the "custom_tune.frg" to a pc, do I need to download the tune to the car first, then read extra tune before I can export? Thanks in advance.

yes... you'd have to install it to the car, and then export it...

but before you do that... see what tune is currently installed - check under Options > "Last Tune Written" in the predator... that will tell you what the last tune was that it installed to your car...

last tune written is fbfg2ty.frg . Does this file name llok like a Ford factory tune? Problem I'm having is a tried exporting the "custom_tune.frg" for a CMR dealer to read, but the dealer indicated he was unable to open tune. I was told by the previous owner of my car that the car already had the custom tune loaded, but I'm wondering if I was misinformed. Thanks for the quick reply.
