RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: Link still not working
I loaded the 9r20 (93 w/CAI) a few weeks ago and liked the change; since then, I loaded the 9t21c (93 w/CAI) and notice that when I shift and stomp on the pedal, there's hesitation or lag...since I have a 6-spd, there's evidently no need to pull fuse #2 (wouldn't change anything)...should I recal the throttle? The only other thing I can think of is that it was much colder outside and perhaps that was the culprit? Any insight you could provide would be most helpful...cheers, P1.

Will the 21r do anything for my 2009 Super Bee? It's running great right now, but will I benefit from the update?

Which one do we download? The 9t21c here or the 9r21 listed on your download page?johan wrote:We have updated the U7135 and included 2010 5.7L support as well as redone all the 2009 5.7L tunes and some parameters.
Also added is a 2009 Jeep SRT8 new calid.
Any feedback will be appreciated.

get the one from the download page... that's the final release version of it, instead of the test one...

Is the latest update (9r22) only for SRT vehicles, or can it be used on my 5.7 R/T Challenger? Thanks
Kevin

No need if your tool works currently.B5MOPAR wrote:Is the latest update (9r22) only for SRT vehicles, or can it be used on my 5.7 R/T Challenger? Thanks

It is just to add support for previously unsupported calibrations.

RE: Re: RE: Re: New 7135 update, revised 09-10 5.7L tunes
I just read at the LX Forums and Challenger talk about r23 upgrade, I have the vr21 now, will I see a great deal of benefit from the upgrade or should I just install my 180 T-stat, data log and get a CMR?
RE: Re: RE: Re: New 7135 update, revised 09-10 5.7L tunes
The 180* T-stat does not require a CMR if that's what your wondering.
I don't believe that you need to update to r23 from 21 the primary difference as I understand it is vehicle support. Someone else may know different though and chime in.
Data Logging is always a good idea IMHO. Especially if you are going to be 'adjusting' the canned tunes.
A good CMR tune will provide options that can't be had with the tool alone. A lot of what you'll see in gains however it depending on what mods you have. It's tough to say if it's worth the $$ for you without more info..

thanks, it has been cold here so I have not rushed to install the 180 stat. Going to the track tomorrow for the first time and to be honest up until now I have been pretty statisfied with my car but the track may change that tomorrow. Using the performance feature on the car I can run a 12.97 at 106.8 but that is not the tree. We will see what happens tomorrow.neidan wrote:The 180* T-stat does not require a CMR if that's what your wondering.

If you put the 180 in remember to change your fan settings down to take full advantage of it. Also, if you want you can rase them back up when not at the track. It will take a bit longer to come up to temp with the 180, but it will run at stock temps when you want it to....

Well it started off okay and went down hill after that:neidan wrote:If you put the 180 in remember to change your fan settings down to take full advantage of it. I don't know much about your car, but I don't think that's bad at all. It looks to me like You'd have won 2 out of 3 with a bit better RT or a bit more sticky rubber..
Have you done any data logging at the track?

No, those were my first three runs ever. The only mods I have are K&N 63-1114 CAI, flowmaster 44s with no resonators, Predator 93 octane, billet catch can. I have the 180 stat but have not installed it yet.neidan wrote:I don't know much about your car, but I don't think that's bad at all. I noticed on the Diablo website page that axle gear is mentioned, it isn't possible to program a lower gear ratio at the track is it? I feel stupid asking but axle gear is listed on the website. I think a rearend gear change to 354 or 373 would help me more than anything as cars were pulling away toward the end of the track, the last race I was going to win until the last third of the track.
