No need to feel stupid asking anything IMHO... Being able to set the final gear ratio would be a cool feature, but unfortunately that's not how it works.. If you did put in a different gear set, this is how you would adjust that information in the ECU so the car would read correct on the speedo and also would not go into limp mode....

You running an auto or 6 speed? I don't think I'd want to rase my finals..... in fact I may lower them. I've got 4k+ lb of car to get moving I don't mind needing to gab another gear..

You will want to do data logging and see what is going on under there. Then you can tweak the tune a bit.... Adjust and repeat..

I have an auto, and all those times were ran in D with ESP turned off. I had a 3:54 gear 3 speed auto in my Super Bee with a 440 six pack but that was without OD, this car could probably go 3:73 and still run down the road well.

Good point but what size wheels and tires were on that B. Those must be thought of as a final 'gear' in the drive system. For lots of reasons the most have 20" or higher wheels today, so what's that give you for total diameter? What did you have back then... then lets compare the where we were in each gear. Next we need to look hat HP curves and see where we were for TQ / HP at X RPM.

I don't know, I have not done this yet.. (hopefully this year) but I'm thinking we need to go to even slightly higher gears.... & shift more often. (still kind of an issue on the Autos's, it will come) IMHO... and I've got a stick so I'm a bit different..

I still think the first setup though is going to be logging to see what's truly going on in there... + some easy fixes... better traction if were' spinning etc..

I have a 2009 Challenger R/T and I tried downloading the 9t21c and it gets stuck at 7747 and won't finish downloading. The file ends up being corrupt. I tried to download my original 9r18 and have the same problem, it won't download past 7747. I finally got the 9r12 downloaded and the predator working but I ended up going backwords in croms. I did a search and see that that a fix or patch can be emailed. If so please do so I can run the most current crom. Thank you.

Update: I contacted DS and had a tech send me the correct crom 9r23l. Thanks.

you need to return the first vehicle back to stock by restoring the original backup. If that is not possible then you will need to call 800-531-5484 with the tool powered up and you will need to pay $129 for the unlock service. The unlock service must be completed by phone.
