I got this puck install this past week and my customer was very pleased. He gained 90 miles per tank but has had a few problems:

- its gone into reduced power mode twice which is a hassle when running a repo business.
- The knob, with time, will automatically turn all the way clockwise.

Any ideas on how to fix these?

Limp mode is usually a sign of the trans limping, due to slippage, usually from too much toque, answer, keep your foot out of it or keep the power turned down a bit.
as for the know moving, thats odd, I have never experienced that, but I will look into a possible solution.

Thanks for the feedback!

I figured the vehicle was going out of the torque table. I was hoping to reflash the ECU w/HP Tuners because it has a speed limiter of 75 on it. However, I wasn't able to modify the ECU and currently waiting to hear back from HP on the matter.

Is the dial supposed to move freely from left to right or is it supposed to lick x amount of times? This spins freely from left to right if that helps at all...

it should not click, but it should be tight enough that it does not spin freely...

Any suggestions how to fix this? As silly as this sounds, but could our knob be missing a set screw or something?

I have it mounted right below the steering wheel. There is small panel thats about (if I were to guess) 12" long and a couple inches tall. was easily removable and figured cheap to replace if the customer ever wanted to convert it back to stock. I'm glad I didnt put it in the aux spot on the dash with this problem! It would have been a pain to try and resolve!

Thanks,

Nick

What if I just unplugged the part of the module with the dial? Could you still operate the vehicle?

Yes, but it would be disabled, as in not doing anything.

I am trying to get a new knob sent out.
