Diablo Tunes v.s. custom tune

2004 Ford Mustang GT
Mods: cold air intake (unknown brand), no mufflers

Just wondering if someone could give me a explanation of the canned performance Diablo tunes? I have a 87 octane and 93 octane available in my Predators menu.

Only mod my car has is an unknown brand CAI. Filter is located down low inside of fender, seems to have a good quality K&N type cone filter. When I bought the car the previous owner was running a custom tune that I'm not real impressed with. Will one of the canned Diablo tunes work just as well for my application? Just don't want to be runnning lean with the CAI.

before using the Predator tune make sure you save the custom tune to your pc or you will loose it.

Thanks Shaken. That's one of the first things I did when I started using my Predator, just to be safe. Is running the one of the Diablo performance tunes of for a generic CAI or do I need a custom tune designed specifically for that intakes air flow?

Data log your timing 4th gear pulls at the track from 2k -7k 2k-4k 4k-7k rpms are adjustable. You will need to take your laptop to be able to reload your custom tune as I would log both. Since you do not have a off road mid pipe there are no cel light to worry about running v.9r07b. From what I have read 24-27 degrees @ WOT is the target area for bolt on mods for a 2v. Which ever works for you without detonation or fuel quality is the one you want. Without a wide band o2 adjusting you A/F would not be advised. As far as a custom tune goes is it the factory MAF, if it is not then yes.
