General Joe67 - Try the 9t07b CROM, I believe it was posted a few pages back, most of the 06's and some of the 05's got everything back with that CROM loaded on.

GSXRated455 - Load the 9r05 CROM on page 1 (or 2) and that will have everything but the throtte sensitivity working, I was running it on mine for a while and it all works and loads fine, Also try the 9t07b CROM that fixed some of the 05's and the 06's that I have talked to and gave them everything back.

With that being said I am still running better times with the 9t07b and the 9t07c CROM's than I was with the 9r04 and 9r05 CROM's.

As for issues, this is the first problem I have had since I bought mine and they have been working on it trying to fix it basically since I posted the thread. Its not a problem with the tuner it an issue with the CROM file.

I had a superchips on mine before the predator and although the superchips was a great programmer and I had no issues at all with it for the 3 and a half years I had it the predator is much better in my opinion as far as power, mpg and tuning goes.

You guys just need to load the tune and see if it works, ssome 05's are working with it, but if you dont try how are they suppose to know what vehicles it is working for and what vehicles its not. If it doesn't read the trans and doesn't show a TCM CALID post it up and then load the 9r05 CROM that has everything working and post up the TCM CALID that it gives. The larger the "test feild" the better the chance of them getting it resolved for everyone faster.

I downloaded 9t07c and plan to try it tomorrow. already posted my TCM calid on a previous page, and what did and didn't work on my truck so far.

I am trying to do my part to help get this issue fixed.

that's why I made this suggestion:
make a crom for '03- early '04, a crom for late '04-'05, a crom for '06-'08 and a crom for '09-'10.

RTICWOLF wrote:Also, why do you not offer downloads to "roll-back" to earlier CROM's? I would open my unit and download the 9r05 if it was available....
between me and others, there should be a copy of every crom released.

mikel should be able to send you earlier crom's.

I have 9r02, 9t03c, 9r04, 9t06d, 9r06 and 9t07c on my desktop.

I can e-mail you a copy of one, some or all of these crom's if you want. i recommend you try 9t06d.

PM me your e-mail addy if you want these crom's.
We still have every crom and will host them on our website. We will update our U7137 and other predator item description pages with the links for each crom to download. They are clean with no viruses.

meaning that all Croms that have been developed for the U7137 will soon be on the U7137 "Downloads" page instead of just the current production Crom?

right now, only the 9r06 Crom file is on the downloads page.

9r01, 9r02, 9r03 & 9r04 are on the downloads page, with release date & what features they have, but no files to download.

9t03c, 9r05 & 9t06d are not listed on the downloads page.

Predator v.9r06 first attempt = NO TRANS OPTIONS

Post by GSXRated455 »

Just wanted to put a quick post on here to update you guys on how this crom version worked on my truck. I flashed the v.9r06 that came loaded on my predator and unfortunately as I suspected, there were no options for trans. I would like to try some other files.

As for the comment about thinking about going with a Flashpaq, I wasn't trying to put the predetor down. I know they are good. That's why I got one instead of a F.P. I was just disappointed after anxiously waiting day after day for my predator to arrive and use it to wake my truck up. Now, only to find out that it looks like I'm going to be waiting some more for a properly written file to get those neck snapping, tire chirping shifts that I love so. However, I'm sticking with the predator. I'm sure the tech guys will come up with a solution soon.

White Lightning, that would be great if you could email me a file that you think may work. When you have the time, you can send it to [email protected], or attach it to a post and I can get it there. Thanks for the help. Will let you know how it works out as soon as I try it.

if people want them instead of the actual revision crom? Was there something better about the beta crom than the revision crom?

Okay,
Took a little work but I got the crom's we had banked up on our website and anybody can download them. I did not have a description for 9R05 and forgot what it did so if anybody knows, I will post that information there.

If you have anybody on the other forums that need old revisions, you can refer them to that webpage to download them.

If you want to email the other croms, just send them to [email protected]

Dont use the 9r06 CROM, that was the first one with the problem. Try one of the beta versions released after that one. The 9t07b CROM that they sent out fixed most of the 06's and some of the 05's but not all obviously.

Where are you guys getting all of these files? The only one I know of is the 9r06 that is available for download on the website.

Just tried v.9t06d and still no trans control. Odd because White Lightning sent it to me, who said he also has an 05, and it works for him. Am I doind something wrong? Is there an additional step or file I must add for trans options to be available?

They are all in this thread, someone at one point in time has posted them. The only ones that have worked on mine are the 9r04 and 9r05 as far as trans control go. The 9r06 is bad but the 9t07b and 9t07c seem to work for some but not all

GSX,

Not every person has the same trans calibration and therefore some of the revision fixed the trans parameters and some didnt.
