When you say the 9r05 worked for you with the trans control, does it give you the option to + - SHIFT FIRMNESS and SHIFT POINTS or just when to shift gears from throttle position in relation to RPM? I finally tried the 9r05, which does have trans options, however I thought it would have all the options including the shift points and firmness but it does not. After viewing the Predator Menu Map and reading the Predator manual, both show these option should be available. Do you think there is some sort of conflict with my truck specifically or is the 9r05 file like this for everybody?truckin wrote:They are all in this thread, someone at one point in time has posted them. The only ones that have worked on mine are the 9r04 and 9r05 as far as trans control go. The 9r06 is bad but the 9t07b and 9t07c seem to work for some but not all

RE: Re: RE: Re: Predator v.9r06 first attempt = NO TRANS OPT
No there are no adjustments like for shift firmness that I m aware of (never had it on any of the previous or currrent tunes), the only adjustments that are available for our trucks (05-06) are partial up/down shifts and WOT shifts. Other years are missing all of them or have some and missing others.
There are other vehicles that use the U7137 other than the ram trucks so there may be some options that are listed that do not apply for or trucks

Not every person has the same trans calibration and therefore some of the revision fixed the trans parameters and some didnt.
not all the tcm are the same, you could have an early 05 or late 05 which could change the calibration.
for an example some of the late 04's have trans. control but the early one's don't. why you'd have to ask the nazi .

Trans options M.I.A.
That makes sense. I was wondering why the same file would work differently on the same year truck but didn't think about tcm files may be different on early or late production models of same year. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
On the other hand, it's still a let down that there is no shift firmness on these predators. I know it's not your guys fault, but I feel I gotta vent to somebody. This quote is taken directly from the Diablosport site, listed under the U7137 Predator features, under this link on the details how to adjust parameters:
http://www.diablosport.com/index.php?mo ... ay&pid=122.
"Quick Adjust parameters
Quick adjust parameters do not require a reflash to take effect, they require a key cycle, these parameters are available in a separate "Quick Adjust" menu item as well as in the modify parameters menu.
User will be asked to cycle key after each adjustment.
Shift Points
Raise shift points by a predefined setting, 5.7L's (1-2 5800rpm, 2-3 6000rpm, 3-4 6000rpm), 6.1L's (1-2 6400rpm, 2-3 6400rpm, 3-4 6400rpm).(N/A on Jeep
Shift Firmness
Reduces torque management between shifts for a firmer shift , N/A on SRT8 vehicles."
Now, it just seems to me that if a company advertises a list of features the product is supposed to be capable of, then they had better make sure it can deliver the goods. If they can't, yet still list these options, then that sure seems like false advertising to me. If it were just some minor tuning option missing, I would not make such a big deal, but a truck that shift slow and smooth at WOT and one that "bangs" you into the next gear can make a big difference in 0 - 60 and 1/4 mile times. Isn't that why we get these things? I know I sure didn't get mine to put my truck into Ultra Slow Fuel Economy mode.
Sorry for such a long post. I'm just hoping that while we wait patiently, somebody at Diablosport will see OUR problem, get squared away and find a solution that meets all it's customers expectations.

Please note the following that is at the top of that page,
"DCX Predator parameters explained
We dedicated this page to explain the different parameters that the Predator allows the end user to adjust.
Please note that all parameters listed may not be available on all part numbers. "

RE: Re: Predator v.9r06 first attempt = NO TRANS OPTIONS
9t07c has both tranny support and throttle sensitivty on my truck, so it appears to be working right.
altered shifts work and -50 rpm idle works and throttle response is a bit snappier after turning up throttle sensitivity +10%.
meant to post this yesterday but got busy.
my truck:
2005 5.7 Ram 1500
PCM: 56028958AI
TCM: 05094258AD
did not try 9t07b, so don't know what it does on my truck.

bummer. your TCM calibration must be different than mine.GSXRated455 wrote:Just tried v.9t06d and still no trans control. Odd because White Lightning sent it to me, who said he also has an 05, and it works for him. Am I doind something wrong? Is there an additional step or file I must add for trans options to be available?
just heard from Johan, he got a truck in that 9t07c & 9t07b didn't work right on, so hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Just thought this was worth mentioning.ON my 05 i have found that sometime's the tune dosen't load properly. If your radio clock dosen't reset to 12:00 or your overhead temp gauge's is reading way high and not changing, then the tune did'nt take.Even thow the DSP say's it's in the truck. You can usually tell the truck dosen't seem to be just right.I've found that starting the truck and letting it charge and come to temp. before loading a tune help's avoid getting a bad tune load. This may be part of the reason why the crom work's on some and not other's.Has anyone else exprienced this?

Hey mikel just downloaded and tried this on my 04 Ram and it doesn't support my Calid still. I was hoping in one of these updates you would support 04 Rams with PCM 56029161AH TCM 56028810AD. I dont mean to hijack this thread as I have already posted this up on here in another thread. Just looking for this to be resolved.mikel wrote:OK, new fix...let us know guys!!
