2000 7.3 fails to recognize ignition on

I haven't used the predator in a while, and I am not sure what tune I left it on. I wanted to restore orig backup so I can get the Ford cps recall done, and after selecting the tune and turning the switch off for 3 seconds, the tuner says turn ignition switch on, then it immediately goes to a error screen about how i didn't turn on the ignition switch. following info is in tuner:

Sounds like a possible feps circuit issue with the tool, it may need to be RMA'd for repair. Call up tech and see if there is anything they can do first and then they will point you in the right direction
