Custom email tune

Good morning all,
I am currently deployed and due back in the next month where my truck is currently getting many upgrades done to it. I am having long tube headers and a y pipe installed which is deleting my cat (WI doesn't have inspections). I have searched the website under custome CMR dealers unfort all the ones i have contacted around my area in WI and in NC where i am stationed are saying the don't touch dodge. My concern is that when i get back i will have 4 days in WI before i will be driving 16 hours to NC in the truck and if i need a custom tune so that my the 02 sensor is not kicking codes because of the cat delete and running like crap it could be a long road trip. So finally getting to the point does anyone have a company or person they can recommend to do a custom tune via email?

Also i plan on having the truck put on the dyno to fine tune this summer will i be able to adjust the spark and fuel in the custom tune at that time?

Which side of WI are you going to be at? If you on the MN side call Hi-Tech Motorsports in Elk River MN they will not do email but will gladly do your truck in person. If you are on the wrong side of WI I am sure there are CMR tuners in Milwaukee and Chicago who can also get you in quickly.

You should have an "in person" dyno tune, I would not do the email deal unless DS will set the sensors for you to use on a temporary basis, they will have to speak up.

Can you explain what COT is. If its not allowing you to make any changes in the fuel what good is that adjustment on the DSP. Most of us do not have a wide band so we would not know if the adjustments we are making are being installed or not being allowed by the computer.

I am on the South East side of WI so im guessing my best bet would be to look into IL. I will need to look into it i don't want the truck running like crap for a 16 hour trip or be forced to find a CMR because its running that bad. Thanks for the help.

Yep, get a CMR tuner to do it all for you. There are four of them shown around Milwaukee, two to the north and two by Waukegan. Good luck and have fun, it should run great and even get respectable gas mileage when they are done.

Good afternoon all,
I have contacted everyone in WI by me and gone down just before chicago in IL. No one wants to touch my truck..>A because they do ford and chevy but no dodge or <B the truck won't fit in their garage because of the 35" tires and 6" lift. I know i saw in the thread some where that quit a few were having the same guy do email tunes for around 75 bucks and having some good results. The guy was even letting them log the new tune and doing minor adjustments to that one for free. For the life of me i can not find this thread again. Any help would be appreciated.
Don
