U7131 and Data Viewer

Updated my Predator today to the latest crom file. When I looked I saw the info on the Data Viewer. Installed it on my computer and after the crom update decided to try out the Data Viewer. It finds the Predator, Predator says it's under remote control, but the program just sits there saying it's aquiring information. In the status bar it says its transferring info. So it stays stuck on this and never displays anything else. HELP!?!?

Windows Vista SP2
Radio Shack Serial to USB cable (installed driver under compatibility mode - works fine for DSDownloader)

Any ideas?

...oh and I tried to call first but waited for 8 minutes the first time before I was just disconnected. Second time it was 7 minutes or so of the pre-recorded stuff, then it rang, sounded like someone picked up, then silence for about 15 seconds, and then went back to the recording saying that everyone was busy and my call would be answered in the order it was received, etc, etc, etc...

Close DataViewer (File->Exit), and post the runtime.txt file found in: "My Documents\DataViewer". It will give us a clue where to look.

The Error: .\comm\CommThread.cpp, line 479, CCommThread::TestOpenConnection, Baud Check bad response: I'll need to look into further. Might be the USB-Serial driver. May want to use the Prolific USB driver instead (see: http://www.diablosport.com/index.php?na ... 4935#24935)

I just tried Predator U7131-9r04, Prolific USB-Serial on WinXP using DV release 3.3.0.3 on bench and it streamed OK.

I'll give the Prolific driver a whirl...think I've tried it before though and it wouldn't work with DSDownloader but I can't remember for sure. I'll also try the Beta of Data Viewer. Thanks!
