'09 SRT8 Challenger 6-speed. Can't update my Predator for it

Hey folks. I've been going through the threads, and it seems some others have had my problem..

I've had my U7135 programmer for a few years. It's been used on '07 and '08, SRT8 Chargers. Well, now I'm getting an '09 SRT8 Challenger 6-speed. And, I need to update the programmer, but I can't load any CROM tunes higher than 9r12. If I try to upload anything higher (I've tried 16, 17, 18, and 23), I get an error code that says;
"Incompatible hardware. (No serial flash found). Contact tech support (561) 908-0040 x1"

I see some comments made about "tweaked files for older units", and such. And, to make a post, or send and email to get a special tune. I've even seen some "special" tunes for the 5.7L '09 Challengers. But, I never found anything for the SRT8s.

Do I just need a tweaked tune? Is there any way to get my predator "updated" so I won't have to worry about this in the future?

Just a question, though. Will I have to seek you guys for a special tune like this every time there's an update?

If so, is there a better fix for this? If not, would I need to sell my current unit and buy a newer one, since I don't plan on going backwards in years?
