2003 dodge with predator u7130 want to add puck

Hey I have read 5 pages on this and I still need some help with clarifacation please.
I run the u7130 and love it other than on extreme I run out of fuel at 2800 rpm (not predators fault need to upgrade to fass)
so from what I have read from these posts is that when you use the stacker downloads it keeps the egts lower. yes?
When I was playing with the stacker they have towing or extreme no middle of the road?
Can I leave my programmer on performance and my puck on 60 or 90 horse and watch my egts and be ok?
I see your updates I dont understand how to read them.
I have a 03 ram 5.9 south bend clutch, afe air horn, aem cold air intake.
I run the performance tune and would like a little more but less than extreme?
Could you tell me what would be the greatest tune for power and milaege, useing the puck and programmer. thanks in advance

well the stacker tunes wont lower your egts,they use less added presure so u can run a puck which is a presure only box.some guys say adding presure will shorten the life of your injectors,adding timing may lower egts but presure wont.with a egt gauge you can run any tune you want if your smart about it,i found best milage using the rkl tunes and a easy right foot,with the clutch you have your ok running the extreme tunes as long as u have some gauges,i wouldnt bother with a puck but download the rkl tunes here and try them

So if I understand you completely you are saying forget buying a puck and run a rkl tune? Thanks for the reply I am just trying to understand, What are rkl tunes? which one do you recommend? As stated above I run a 5.9 cold air, air horn 4" exhaust with muffler.
Any body from diablo read these I could really use help in understanding the tunes?

ya try the rkl tunes on this site first and if u still want more power then maybe add a puck,i tried a puck and i didnt notice to much diference,it seemed to help with throttle responce a little bit,u have a strong clutch so u can safely run any tune on here,plug your pred in a go to options and find your calid number,write it down then go to the sticky lableled 200hp tunes on this site and find the rkl tune with the calid that matches yours and download that,then download the little program called dsloader also from this site and that will install the new tune to your pred,u will need a usb to serial adpater and a power suply or have the pred pluged into your truck for power,u may have to update your pred to the latest crom file which is also here for free,i think its r05 for our preds,i know it all sounds confusing but if u do a little searching and reading on here it will come and once u do it it will be easy later on.i am running the rkl puff tune with no timing,i am using a quadzilla x2 for timing and i get pretty good milage from the 2.the pred is a great tuner for the 03-05s and the rkl tunes are pretty powerful.once they get the whole torque managment thing worked out the pred will be able to compete with the big 3.smarty,bullydog and edge

Hey Dave I bought a usb to serial adaptor and it would not reconize my programmer. It was prob because of the cable any recomendation for a cable? I have all the updates done and yah I will find my cali id. Thanks for your help eh! this is the first time I have every really played with a diesel. If I dont have the quadzilla x2 should I run a rkl tune with timing then? My big concern is when I hit 2800 to 3000 I get a back fire out the exhaust so I am getting a fass system, I change the fuel filter every oil change so I dont think it is that.

i think theres a section on here that has some drivers for the adapters,i bought some cheap adapter that i use for my older gps and it worked without anydrivers,it will take some playin around to get it to recognize the pred,also u need to suply pwer to the pred,the usb wont power it,once u get it figured out it iwill all come together,u can try the rkls with or without timing,some guys get timing rattle from to much added timing some dont,my dads truck is similar to mine and his rattles with added tiiming and mine wont,if u have only run the performance and tow u will in for a big surprise with the rkls,they are a very powerful tune,i have a scangauge that i use to monitor engine load and stuff and the engine barely works to move the truck runnin the rkl tunes.these tuners are great for the price.they may not have all the features the other ones have but their half the price too.let us know how u make out

oh ya and if your running out of fuel on performance u will definatley run her out on the rkls,mine hickups to when i get on her hard,i dont have the clutch u have so i cant ride her hard without it slipping

Hey mikel downloaded the driver 4 times twice from your web site and twice with the cd that came with the driver and in test mode from the downloader page it would not reconize my programmer, have a 12v 1amp power cord the unit powers up.
Dave it pops on the extreme tune only when I am teaching a civic a lesson I am really excited to try one of these rkl tunes thanks for your help I will update as I go
