U7135 r23 2009 Chrysler 300 AWD
The only addons I have are the Catch can and ARIA cold air intake. I have noticed for a few weeks now that the engine seems to be rumbling at the speeds mention on the post. This is happening under normal throttle conditions. It may even be noise coming from the ARIA. I'm running just the 91 CAI tune. I'm wondering if it may be wanting more fuel? I haven't did any logging so maybe if I do it will tell me what is happening. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

RE: Engine sound at 55-66 MPH
what engine do you have
RE: Engine sound at 55-66 MPH
It's the 5.7. Again when giving a little throttle it sounds like it rumbles. WOT is fine.

Turn off the MDS. The stock air box has a baffle in it to keep you from hearing it go in and out of MDS.The ARIA doesn't have the baffle.. Every one who installs a cold air system has the same sound its normal. The sound is created by the valves that are opened when MDS is activated. In MDS mode you have 4 cylinders shut down but the pressure that is created from the pistons going up and down has to be released so the valves open to release the cylinder pressure. Hope this helps.

That is just what I did tonight so I will give it a try on my way to work tomorrow. Thanks for your help. I will let you know how it turns out.
