Is your Bullitt a streetroad or a 1/4 monster?

Why 4.10's over 3.73's?

Mine is my dailydriver. I wish it was different, but will have to do for now.

How do you see 4.10's affecting your gas millage?

you can email me instead of replying here at [email protected]
My car is a Daily driver too. I've never been to the track. Maybe next year. I chose 4.10s to make up for the loss of low end torque from the X pipe. Alot of the guys on http://www.moddedmustangs.com have 4.10s on daily drivers and they say the gas mileage difference isn't that bad. Besides with a CAI, upgraded exhaust, pullies and a good tune your gas mileage really shouldn't go down at all.

I'm just afraid of the impact that 4:10's may have in the Highway and in low gear. From the research that I've done the top speed w/ 4:10 still is above 150mph, which is perfect for my daily babbitts, but one of the things that really worries me is my 1st gear... from the research it seems that as soon I step on in 1st gear my RPM's will go off the roof!!!

Not unless you have a Super charger, a prochager or nitrious with no window switch. You do have to shift faster with 4.10s though, but it is all worth it for the added acceleration before on take offs. I lost a lttle low end torque when I put on my X pipe, plus I plan to put on 18" wheels. I need all the help I can get off the line.

why did you go with an x-pipe vs an h-pipe?

The X pipe has much better flow than the H pipe which means it is capable of getting you higher HP numbers. The H pipe is good for low end torque, but after launching and the car is moving what you need is good air flow. There is only one way to get good air flow, but there are plenty of ways to get low end torque and help you launch.

So did you get the 4:10's up on? If so, how do you like them?

Nope. I didn't get a chance to put them on. i had a clutch emergency, but my Spec Stage 1 clutch, Aluminum flywheel and Steeda pullies are all sweet. I'll probably buy the stuff to build a 31 spline set up this winter then I will have it installed in the spring.
