Mike, the question is easy (as my first post describe it). What I'm looking from the Predator in this Jeep HEMI is exactly the delay response that this productsopously fix it.

In the CherokeeSRT8 forum the guys suggested me to sue the PRedator instead of the mentioned product wich is better but unfortunatly my experience wasn't good as I described what I found with Predator in other post in this thread.

not sure what the question is, but the predator and a good custom tune will outperform that overpriced ting any day of the week....

OMG! I must been writting/speaking in chinase? lol!

Ok, here we go again:

When I tried the Throttle Sensitive option in this 5.7L HEMI predator for the sake of getting rid of the DELAY for the throttle response , all what I got was this:

More senstivie = 1/4 throttle gas pedal position will do like 1/2 or 3/4 actual THROTTLE BODY FLAP move, so you are impressed how little gas pedal you give and how the engine reacts or fast it is, but still you have the delay response to accelerate when you are cruising for example at low speeds while manteining 1/8th gas pedal or just released the gas pedal.

In other words, the option that predator give me, doens't work the way I want. This means that the pedal gas once is punched from rolling say 20 mph or 30 mph it will take a while (1-2 seconds) to the engine REACT and accelerate. Sopously that tiny device (if you read it) delete this problem by boosting the signal and making the acceleration QUICKER or almost instant, like the old throttles operated by cable and not eletronic wired like today's cars.

Soooooooooo! Can be developed a option as requested to improve the thorttle response delay? Or do I need to check this product to fix it since the Predator CAN NOT do this?

Is this more clear? Hope you can understand me.

Thanks

The predator throttle function is doing the same thing as any device that makes the throttle work like "cable operated" throttle. The throttle body motor responds to signal coming from the computer so using the predator to change the signal sent to the throttle body will be a better method than an inline device that alters the computer signal before it reaches the throttle body.

I have a feeling your complaint is tied to the transmission function. Furthermore, I dont know of anybody on the forums here complaining about a 1-2 second delay from light throttle to full throttle.

I really think you need to work with a shop to get you a custom tune and have them drive your car to see what the issue is and what they can experiment with to make you happy.

This is a screenshot of my StarScan while trying to figure out what was the compliment of the customer about this. The Predator used is for a 2008 HEMI, but feels the same as this HEMI 07 (pic) and didn't fix it.

Hope the pic speak by itself as still I think no one get my point or maybe my predator is ,,,,,,, :?

You can see the the second row is the longer throttle PEDAL position and the throttle boddie kicks more, but the rest you can see the delay in response.

I know exactly what your talking about. I have a 03 Hemi Ram with DSP 93 oct mode. If im cruising at 60 mph and put pedal to the floor. It takes about 2 seconds to downshift. It drops to 4th gear for a split second then drops to 3rd and taks off like a bat out of hell, but there is still that 2 second delay from time you hit the throttle until it goes. I think this iswhat your talking about right?

Exactly! Besides of what gear will be used by the PCM regarding load, speed, etc, the engine won't rev up until 1-2 seconds later fromt he time we pushed the gas pedal even at the floor or 1/2 throttle, it doens't matter.

This symptom, doens't occur with the SRT-8 Jeep, it reacts FAST enough that I can't complain, but in the 5.7L HEMI....oh well, the story is written.
