on the fly switch disabled with stacking??

Post by alaskactd »

i've got a 2003 cummins dodge and i bought the predator/puck stack combo. when you go through the menu on the predator you get two stacking options, extreme and tow. I can tell the difference in power between the two (it's a night and day difference) but i can't tell any difference when I move the in-cab switch back and forth. Should I be able to change through power settings with the switch when i'm stacking or is the 100hp "tow" and 200hp "extreme" only changeable by going through the settings on the predator? I was under the impression that the switch would allow you to change from say 60hp to 100hp on the predators "tow" mode. Then on the predators "extreme" mode the switch would be 200hp on the "high" setting and say 130 or 150 on the "low" setting.

The switch on the puck has a 5-10 sec delay before it changes the setting so switching it back and fourth will not change the setting right away. We did this as it is better for the motor. The power difference will be less notable when running the extreme tune due to the extra power that tune already has.

I still can not find out on either your or any of your dealers website what the estimated power levels are while stacking other than 200hp with the switch on "high" while on extreme program and 100hp while on high in tow program. The two i'd like to know about are "high" tow and "low" extreme settings.

The high and low in extreme does not differ as much as it would in the lower hp tunes, it was about a 20hp drop and 75ft/lbs drop using the low setting. More in when using the tow tune.
