Well you would think that after 3 years of considering/working on this thing they would have at least a clue where they are...getting excited over nothing sucks

where does this 3 years come from?

Been about 6 months in reality, since we first started looking at it, and to be honest, it will still be quite some time.

The thread started in august of 07' and it was stated back then that the truck has been considered...thats where the 3 years came from...

OK, but there was no actual talk of developing anything until this post I made on Oct 28, 2009:
Looks like we managed to move the Tundra development waaay up the list today.

We know that being first to market in this community can be a HUGE advantage, and it looks like a good market for custom tuning options as well, so it should be a great fit.

At this point, I feel comfortable saying that unless the Toyota PCM turns out to be the only PCM we have come across that we cant crack (not likely Wink), things are looking really good for a Tundra Programmer becoming a reality.

At this point, what we need to hear from you guys is what specific features would you expect from this tool?

Basics we cover on most all applications currently include the ability to alter WOT fueling, WOT timing, change rev limits, adjust idle speed, remove top speed limiters, and adjust for different tire/gear ratios.
These features are in addition to the canned performance tunes that come loaded int he tuners already, allowing for true customization of your tune for your truck.

Outside of that list, is there anything specific you guys would like to see?

Feedback from future customers is key to us, as it helps make sure we develop what YOU WANT. It is what has made our HEMI tuners the absolute first choice among that market, and I'd like to see any Tundra tool we develop give the HEMI tools a run for their money in the sales volume department!

So...lets hear it.

Thanks

There is a huge difference between adding new vehicles on computers they already support to opening a completely new one. Mike already said about 6 posts up it will still be quite some time. What exactly are you guys looking for in an update?
The apostrophe does not mean "Look out, here comes an S"!

"I couldn't care less" means it is impossible to care less - "I could care less" just makes you look stupid.

Exactly.

To be more blunt, there may not be much to report for a while, unless we find a magic back door at Toyota....but we're not giving up.

Just letting us know that ever so often is all we are asking for... it tells us you guys are not discouraged and moving forward.
