getting a improper upgrade message need help

tried to put the newest crom in this thing and now it just locks up and wont let the 07 or 08 crom back in it. I cant get it to power up and except the old one. gets all the way to booting and then checking app then launching app then goes to a problem press the center key do that says tool was improperly upgreaded please downgrade to the previous version which i am trying to put 07 back in it as it woulldnt take 08 either last time. I have 07 in the truck now so am lost on how to fix this. I have tired my computer with xp on it and with windows 7 as I cant even get the computer to see it as it is corrupt i guess

you have 9r07 version tune installed in your truck right now??

so you did not restore the original backup stock tune to the truck BEFORE you tried to update the predator to this new revision??
