I already did read your post... and (as I have already stated above, I just contacted them... they won't let me cancel the order at all... It falls under their special orders policy... That's a horrible business practice on DiabloSport's part. They new days, if not even weeks before the release date that they weren't going to make the deadline. Their techs were commenting about that all over the web on other forums. I refused to believe them at the time as I couldn't believe that DiabloSport would do such an irresponsible thing like failing to notify it's prospecting customers of such a thing. But I was wrong. They did exactly that! They didn't even bother to notify their "authorized" distributors ahead of time.
They say they're sick of the "ranting" coming towards them. But with this type of business activity, what else did they expect? It's now not a matter of patience, it's now a matter of many of us ordering a part number for our TRUCK that will get shipped to us, yet now it is NO LONGER THE CORRECT PART NUMBER FOR OUR TRUCK. In fact, the part number for our truck, doesn't even exist yet.
I said it earlier, that's just not cool, not cool at all. Sorry for ranting... but I've contacted the "authorized seller" - (I'd post their name/URL, but the last time I did something like that - diablo moderators send me an email telling me they had to delete the post as the seller I was talking about was one of their major authorzied dealers.. it does have the letters RPM in their name though), and they just quoted me their policy on "special order items"... no returns/exchanges on special order items.
I'm out 400.00. Can I send this back to diablo (free of charge) for the correct programmer when it comes out, as the reseller won't let me cancel the order now, or take it back?
Somethings gotta be worked out here..., as now it's purely DiabloSport's fault I'm out the cash.... SO... please help.
Anyone that ordered a tool for a truck will not be shipped a car tool.
We will fill truck orders once the truck tool is ready.

So my question stands.... if they ship me the wrong programmer, will you allow me to ship it back to you for the correct one, free of charge? Or am I just screwed. They're protected legally by their posting of their policies. Which, if DiabloSport had kept it's original plan/agreement to make this part available wouldn't have been a problem. But they say, they just sell the part, "... it's my responsibility to insure compatibility... " is their policy claim. Well i had done that, until you changed your release plans.
I thought for sure waiting just before the release date (ordered Jul 30th) I would be safe. I'm sure anyone would. But guess what.... I'm screwed now right.... that's what you're telling me.
