new to predator couple questions

I have 08 hemi charger and i ordered the diablo predator but didnot get the things to hook up to the internet and get updates. So somebody said i could go to a local radioshack. I found the usb to serial cable but the 12v ac to dc adapter that they recommended was 1000ma well radioshack said they replace it with a 1500ma but it should work. So i'm asking will that power the predator? and my second question is i have 89 octane in the tank about a half a tank do i need to run all the gas out before even trying to install the 91 tune?? thanks in advance

You should use the 1000ma or it may say 1amp. Run all the 89 out and fill up with 91.
