Hello,

i got a customer's U7160 here with green housing with "U7160" written with a felt pen on front.

The customer got an Update from Ford and therefor he reinstalled the OEM file on the car. Now after the update he can't re-install the tuning file as the predator won't enable communication with the car's ECU.

Predator Display is then showing:

The Software on the Predator is V.7r45
Serial: 2000532

The further problem is, the latest version of DSD can't enable any communication to this Predator.

would be great to get any help to help my customer.

This tool will need the $99 hardware upgrade to convert it to a U7165 to work with that new flash from ford.

how could we manage this, with the tool located in Germany?
should i contact JCD?
