Question First Tuning - some starter questions...

Hi,

I have read all the documentation for my Trinity tuner, and read how to load a tune, save the original tune, then get data, then adjust fuel trims and all that. Also been monitoring the tuning threads here as well as on the Camaro5 forum.

Questions: I have the LS3, 6spd Man - in CA - highest 91 octane fuel.

1. Should I use the 93 Performance tune? It says it's good for 91 & 93 octane. Or use the basic 91 octane tune?

2. How will all my mods get taken into account? I have a street ADM CAI, JBA shorty headers, a 3" Zoomers CAT back exhaust, and a ported TB. No other engine/performance mods - just suspension.

The93 tune will work best with 93 octane fuel.

You can datalog with the Predator to see how your changes have affected the tune and make changes to the tune through the Predator based on the datalogs.

Ok, I will use the 91 performance tune. Then drive, data log, and adjust from there.
