I'll take the update too. And can you please specify the implications of using this. Such as, is it still untested, and what have other "testers" said about it. I'm just looking for a little performance on a stock clutch, don't want to smoke it. But also don't want a $300 tuner just sitting there not usable.

I don't mind testing it, but I'm about to take a road trip, is it gonna shut down? And does it maintain the ability to flash back to stock should something happen?

the update isnt a new tune,the update alows u to install the tunes you had in the tuner prior to getting a new flash from the dealer,its up to you what tune u install.if u install the extreme then ya u will smoke if u install the tow u wont,the worst that could hapen is u will get the same vehicle not found error.

i had a problem with my ecm in my truck and the dealer replaced it and put the latest cal id in it of 50325053ab and i cant use my predetor anymore and
says it doesn't recongnize the cal id and i need to know when an update is going to be available pls.

i have verified that the update in my programmer is the current one on the web site but it still wont recongnize the vehicle can i get a little info into this if my cal id is too new and you are working on something or whatever you got for info. it says on here that there is a new update that was sent out by you guys on the 5th but i dont see it in the downloads section of web site.

hi there mikel i have a 2006 dodge and the cal id that the diablo tool is showing me is 50325053ab and i cant program my truck. i would like to use the power that i have purchased. can you give me some insite to the update or what is in the works. also you replied to my last msg and you said you sent me a email but i didnt get it in my email address or on this web site in my mail box so dont know what happened there. i am getting a little frustrated with this because i have a friend that has a different programmer and he had the same problem with his truck and has the same cal id i have and his programmer company he said had him a new program out in 3 days to him and i am starting to think i need to buy what he has. i dont want to because i used to smoke him with the diablo but now i cant even smoke my own tires. lol please send me some info i like the product but the wait on an update is getting to be a little too long!!!

We all had this problem. I don't know about your specific cal id, but most new id's were in the update they just posted. Go back to "Predator Dodge Diesel" and go to the last page of "07 megacab - Vehicle Not Found" and you will find a link to download the lastest update. This is the one that fixed mine.

I was just as frustrated as you are at this problem, and I still feel that the service and support is lacking, but the product is good. I hope it works out for you.

By the way, if you don't already know how to do it. You have to get a "USB to Serial" cable to update the tool. Install the drivers that come with it. Then download the update tool from this website. Run that program with the programmer plugged into the truck and into the laptop. Then load the update that I told you was in the 07 megacab thread. For some reason, I have to keep messing with the order that I plug everything in because sometimes the diablo program doesn't recognize that I have the programmer plugged into the laptop
