Incompatible hardware (no serial flash found) error

I'm trying to load the u7135-9r23.crom file to my Predator and receive an error stating "Incompatible hardware (no serial flash found) Contact tech support" error as the upload to the Predator completes.

I can successfully load the 9r12 crom so I'm guessing that my Predator does not have enough memory to load the 9r23 file.

My car is a 2009 Challenger SRT8. The calib code is 63004308AG which I'm hoping is supported in 9r23, but I have not found anything to definitively say one way or another.

If 63004308AG is supported, what's the work around for not being able to load the full 9r23 file?

Hi Mike,

got a simlar problem with the "unable to store CROM file" appearing on display when trying to update to r23.
r12 workes fine but doesn't support 2010 SRT.
I think i do need the same file as NHChalnga...

I have same problem. I just get a used Predator. After I upload u7135-9r23.crom file, it shows the message "Incompatible hardware. (No serial flash found). Contact tech support (561) 908-0040 x1 www.DiabloSport.com"

"Predator u7135 does not support
Calid: 05094680AH
Too, update might be available"
Is that normal or I need other file?

what year is your vehicle?

if it is older than09, use 9r12.

06. Do I need the latest update?
Is the update is the problem or the device? Since before I plug it to my car, the error code already displayed.

same thing but the downloader will not function anymore it had 9r12 i updated to the latest one 9r27 or whatever that one was and got that message now it will not take anyfile and will not recognize in the downloader with or without the auto-detect on

Hi Mike, new owner of a Pretador and trying to get it going before the car is put away for the winter.
Similar issue here in that I am trying to install the latest CROM (v.9r27 I believe) as the unit will only accept the r12 CROM.
