2010 mustang gt superharged

I have a 2010 mustang gt and I wanted to put a supercharger any recommendations.... What wuld be a safe hp rang to not totally mess up my engine??

The Vortech, Edelbrock and ProCharger kits are all nice, and will make good safe power with the provided tunes.

I don't see the point of a centrifugal. They've always seemed like a big waste to me. If you want a snail, get a turbo. Same design, more power potential, and no parasitic losses from driving it via the belt.

Positive Displacement I like, especially Twin screw. Nice, linear power. No lag. Looks freaking awesome sitting on top of the motor.

If you want to go twin screw/positive displacement, then the Ford Racing kit cant be beat for power output out of the box with very safe tuning and excessive R&D behind it.

with a supercharger lets say making it about 475 hp what can i expect my mpg to be more or less than my stock mpg

Its going to be less. Power requires fuel. More power means more fuel. And it will absolutely require Premium, 100% of the time. No idea what the stock 4.6 runs on.
