hey guys, perhaps the same issue I had with my Monte, where the fuel wasn't coming in quick enough, soon enough?? so Johan created me that custom tune to make it go into PE a little sooner, to get more fuel quicker??

Can you see that in the logs, or are we guessing?
I did not think the trucks had those issues.
Johan is out of the office this week as he had a baby on Wednesday, so for the time being, I'd suggest pulling some timing with the Predator and make sure we are using top quality fuel.

Thanks

yes, I can see it in his logs - I've been going through all kinds of logs for him... trims are good... WOT afr and o2 numbers look good, but he's getting a lot of kr....

as for the fix about the PE fueling coming in sooner, that's just a guess for what might help fix his problem... worked for me...

I had a similiar problem with mine except I have a 06 vette and the Diablo 93 Octane tune. What I did recently was fill a tank 100% with Exxon/Mobile gas 93 octane and then I added a bottle of Lucas Octane Booster. It eliminated all of the knock. I am going to try my next tank with just the Exxon/Mobile gas and see if the knock stays away without the Octane Booster.

I am also going to get a couple bottles of GM Top Engine Cleaner to clean the engine from carbon build up which can cause knock. I'll let you know what I find that works besides the above. I am trying to get rid of the knock with out any additives to the gas. But for now I would try the Exxon/Mobile gas and the Lucas Octane Booster.

Oh...I got the Lucas Octane Booster from Pep Boys so it should be widely avail. Let a half tank run through before you log again.
